A Second Alphabet Block – Main Lesson Book

In this post I am recording the drawings that Anusha and I did for her main lesson book. In my previous post here I wrote about how we progressed through Anusha’s second alphabet block using the story The Wise Enchanter as the basis for introducing each letter. In this block we completed F which was introduced at the end of Anusha’s first alphabet block, and worked our way through the rest of the alphabet! Each day I had the drawings for Anusha to copy already prepared. I used the gorgeous pictures from The Wise Enchanter but created them in colour and simplified them so they were suitable for Anusha.

Whew! And there they all are. I’m thinking that for our next Language Arts block I may try a different approach and draw my picture in front of Anusha as she draws hers. When we begin for the new year we will be continuing with a Maths block on the four processes that we started at the end of last year, but for now it’s time for more holidays with Noni and Pop, reflection, planning, and relaxing (maybe?!).
